William "Herb" Herbert Nease, 81 of Fillmore, MO passed away July 9, 2024 at his home near Fillmore.  He was born April 27, 1943 in St. Joseph, MO to William "Bill" & Ethel (Hershaw) Nease.  He married Trudy Pittman in Oregon, MO on December 24, 1990 and she survives of the home.

Herb was a passionate farmer and loved working the land and raising livestock alongside his wife Trudy.  Together they enjoyed travel all over the world, attended countless auctions in search of antiques and lived winter months at their home in Harlingen, TX.  Herb also loved his dog "Pazlee" affectionately referring to her as "Mutt".

Survivors include his wife, Trudy Nease of the home; children, Travis Nease of Liberty, MO, Troy Nease of Fillmore, Troy (Angie) Pittman and Lynne Pittman both of Savannah, MO; grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) James, Tara (Alex) Batty, Kinsley (Ben) Pister, Kirk Pittman (JoLynn), Amaris DeLong, Curran DeLong, and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother,

Visitation and family viewing hour will be 10:00am - 11:00am Friday, July 12, 2024 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO.  Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, July 12, 2024 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Bennett Lane Cemetery north of Savannah.
