William R. Allen, 89, St. Joseph, MO, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at KU Medical Center October 15, 2018.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Doris Allen; sons, Bill Allen and Steven (Sherry Miller) Allen; daughter, Jean (Bob) Molsbee; brother, Gary (Elvina) Allen; sister, Nancy (Al) Minnis; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Public visitation and family receiving hours will be 6:00 to 8:00PM Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Gladden - Stamey Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Friday, October 19, 2018 at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in St. Joseph. Memorial contributions can be made to KU Burn Center.
