Virginia "Anne" Epperson, 81, of Savannah Missouri passed away November 11, 2022 at Mosaic Life Care. Anne was born in Fillmore MO on March 21, 1941 to James and Sarah Black. Anne graduated from Savannah High School in 1959. She married JB Epperson on July 3, 1961.  In their union of marriage, she was blessed with four stepchildren and later they had two additional children. Anne retired from the State of Missouri in 2001.

Anne was blessed with a large and loving family and was referred to as Mama by anybody who knew her dearly. Mama enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, crossword puzzles, knitting, and butterflies.

Anne/Mama will be extremely missed and survived by daughters, Cathy (Tom) Westcott of Savannah MO, Shirley Heide of Yakima WA, Daughter-In-Law Vickie Epperson of Las Vegas NV, Sister Diana Boyles of Savannah MO, Sister-In-Law Margaret Black of King City, MO and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Anne/Mama was proceeded in death by her soulmate JB Epperson, her parents, her brother, Jim Black, her brother-in-law Marion Boyles, her sons, Carl Epperson, Ronnie Epperson, and Jack Epperson, her daughter Carol Floreano, and grandson Josh Westcott.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be 6:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday November 16 ^th , 2022 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah. Funeral services will be 10:00am, Thursday November 17 ^th , 2022 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in honor of Anne's name to the breast cancer research foundation at https://www.bcrf.org/other-ways-give/
