Vernon Wayne Daniels, 83, St. Joseph, MO passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at a local health care facility in St. Joseph, MO. He was born on January 10, 1935 to Harrison & Naomi (Wallace) Daniels. He married Mary Steele on January 10, 1955 in St. Joseph and she survives of the home.
Vernon leaves behind his wife Mary and eight children, Teresa (Larry) Ford of Richmond, MO, Elizabeth Boone and Robert (Deanna) Daniels both of Fillmore, MO, Richard (Teresa) Daniels, Douglas Daniels, Michael Daniels, Shelly Daniels, and John Daniels all of St. Joseph, MO, 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to The St. Joseph Lions Club.
