Velma Gladys Moran passed away July 1, 2015 in Raytown, MO. She was born in Chilton, MO, on February 9, 1930, to Benjamin & Mary Alice (Scears) Conner. She married Lee Moran in January 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1990.
Velma was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She opened her door and heart to everyone. She will be greatly missed.
Velma is survived by; three sons, David (Annemarie) Moran of Sibley, MO, Robert Moran of Raytown, MO, and Noah Moran of Kansas City, MO; three sisters, Sharon (Bob) Messer of Stover, MO, Rebecca Koozmitch of Raytown, MO, and Charlotte Norman of Kansas City, MO; one brother, Roy (Darlene) Conner of St. Joseph, MO; one sister, Dorothy Griggs of Amazonia, MO; fourteen grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and three sisters.
