Twila Janette Osborn, 63 of Savannah passed away Wednesday November 1st, 2023 at KU Medical center in Kansas City.  She was born February 4th, 1960 to Carl Eugene & Martha Darlene (George) Merritt.  She married Wayne Vernon Osborn on July 28th, 1981 in Savannah, MO and he survives of the home.

Twila was the village mother.  She loved sea turtles, picking up seashells, and watching the hummingbirds at the house.    She enjoyed painting ceramic figurines, and fixing family dinners.  She loved her dogs Minnie, Dexter, Sadie, Sophee and Chomper but mostly, she loved her family.

Survivors include her husband; children, Devon (Jeff) Verbick of Oregon, MO, Brittany Osborn of St. Jospeh, and Destinee Osborn of Savannah; grandchildren, Addalynn Aylsworth, Laynie Verbick, Dyllion Aylsworth, Olivia Verbick, Aubrie Pierce, and Zaylee Osborn; and brother, Tracy (Christine) Marritt of Rosendale.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Troy Merritt.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday, November 6th, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral services at Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Amazonia Methodist Church at 509 Spring St, Amazonia, MO 6442.
