Twila Goforth Reynolds, 83, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on October 8, 2026. She was born on October 16, 1942, in Rosendale, Missouri, to Gilbert and Vada Patterson.
Twila raised her four children in Maryville, Missouri, where she also built a life as an entrepreneur, owning hair salons, a clothing store, and real estate. She later made her home in St. Joseph and Kansas City before settling in Springfield to be near her sister.
Wherever she lived, Twila found a church family and made lasting friendships. She was a devoted bridge partner and a faithful fixture in her painting classes, and her friends will miss her dearly at the card table and the easel alike. She lived a blessed life and shared that blessing generously with those around her.
Twila is survived by her husband, Bob Reynolds also of Springfield, MO; her brother, Ronald Patterson; her sister, Karen Rybolt; her children and their spouses, Tyann and Hamid Hamedi, Kristy and Undra Simpson, Todd and Cristi Goforth, and Tonya and Billie Mercer; her stepson, Scott Reynolds; her stepdaughters, Debbie Bower and Jennifer Schults; her grandchildren, Alyssa and Tyler Hamedi, Isaiah and Isaac Simpson, and Brody and Lexi Goforth; and her great-grandchildren, Ario and Enzo Hamedi and Ace and Kai Simpson.
