Tobi Rae Cox 65 of Savannah passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at a local hospital in St. Joseph.  Tobi was born July 29, 1958 to Wilber Boicourt and Sharon Nelson.  She married David Cox III in St. Joseph on July 10, 1976 and he preceded her in death.

Tobi was tiny, but had the biggest of hearts. She adored her family, animals, friends, and traveling. She loved spending time with family and friends, working on her family genealogy, and used to compete in several tractor pulls. To know her was to love her.

Survivors include her brother, Russell Nelsen of St. Joseph; sister-in -laws, Shirley Simmons and Evelyn Muse both of St. Joseph; with many nieces', nephews, cousins, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Monday August 28, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Visitation and family receiving hour will be 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM; followed by 10:00 AM funeral services. The burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Troy, KS.
