Thomas "Thom" W. Schwarz, 74 of St. Joseph, MO passed away at his home June 22, 2026 following a brief illness.

He was born May 18, 1952 in Appleton, WI to Philip & Marvel (Ethan) Schwarz. The eldest of six children. On April 20, 1983 he married Terry Raines in Cosby, MO.  She survives of the home.

Thom is loved and will  be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Terry Schwarz of the home; children, Thomas S. Schwarz of St. Joseph and Aaron S. (Kyoko) Schwarz of Fukuoka, Japan; sisters, Kathy (Mike) Fisher of Medford, OR and Barbara (Tim) Martinez of Clinton, MO; grandchildren, Aya and Kei Alex Schwarz of Fukuoka, Japan; great grandkids, Zacharia and Gary Schwarz of Savannah, MO.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, three siblings, Steven, Judy, and Ricky Schwarz of Long Beach, CA; and a grandson, Zachary Schwarz of St. Joseph,  MO.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Inurnment at Bethel Baptist Curch, Cosby, MO at a later date.
