Thomas "Tommy" Beaver, 58, Savannah, MO. Born on May 19, 1959, passed away on July 6, 2017, at Truman Medical Center, where he was life-flighted as a result of a motorcycle accident. Tommy attended Lafayette High School in St. Joseph. He enlisted into the United States Army in 1980, and earned his GED upon returning from serving his country.
Tommy was a born-again Christian, and lived his life following the Word of the Bible and serving God. He never passed up a chance to study, teach, or guide someone on the Word. He sent daily devotionals to many people to spread the Word of God. He felt it was his purpose to give testimony to everyone he met.
Tommy was preceded in death by both of his parents, James Sr. and Ina Beaver, of Savannah; and a sister, Barbara Smith.
Survivors include his two children Lauren Beaver and Jordan Beaver, both from St. Joseph. Three grandchildren, Jayden Frisbie, Emilynn Frisbie, and Jezlyn Beaver. Siblings James Jr. (Pat), of Easton; Donald "Donnie" (Billie); Douglas Sr., all of St Joseph; and Shirley (Tad) Tiller, of Amazonia. He has several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 13, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
