Theresa Ann Landers, 92, entered her heavenly home on June 7, 2024. She was born February 27, 1932, in St. Joseph, MO. She was the daughter of Helen (Kerner) and John Rau.

Theresa attended Saint Mary's Elementary School and the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Saint Joseph. She worked for her family at Rau Floral & Nursery greenhouses in St. Joseph.  In 1966 she established Landers Flowers in Savannah, MO.  Theresa continued the family tradition of creating beautiful flowers for many years.

Theresa married David A. Landers, and they celebrated over sixty-seven years of marriage before his death. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lucille Root, Elizabeth Cooper, and Mary Stubbs, brothers John C. Rau and Robert (Bill) Rau, and grandsons, Brad Arn and Don Worley. She is survived by sister, Barbara (Jim) Auxier, sister-in-law, Joyloise Rau, and her children, Janet Fite, Connie (John) Knorr, Theresa Lawrence, and David M. (Cathy) Landers all of Savannah.

Theresa is additionally survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, cousins, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Theresa was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Parish of Savannah. Rosary will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Breit Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah followed by visitation until 8:00 pm. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, 10:00 am on June 11, 2024. Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Savannah, MO.
