Thelma "Jean" Wells, 86 of Savannah passed away Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at her home in Savannah.  She was born July 13. 1936 to Robert & Thelma Irene (Graves) Henderson.  She married Robert Wells December 19, 1953 at Calvary Baptist Church in St. Joseph and he preceded her in death in 2014.

Thelma enjoyed horses and animals and being in the outdoors. She owned the Savannah mini mall for several years. She enjoyed working and talking with people. She loved her husband Bob and missed their many outings and adventures they would go on. She was very talented in making Willow furniture, repairing beautiful ornate furniture, and painting. She loved Jesus Christ and read from her Bible daily.

Survivors include sister-in-law, Dona Lee Wells; friends, Keven & Angie Hummer, Cody Hummer, Seth Hummer, Michael Hummer, and Gabriel Hummer.  She was preceded in death by her husband, and parents.

Visitation and family receiving an hour will be 10:00am-11:00am, Saturday, June 3rd 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO.  Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, June 3rd  2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah.  Burial will follow in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to Dick Munkres American Legion Post 287, Savannah, MO.
