Steven Ray Ferguson, 69, of Torrance, CA and formerly of the Savannah/Fillmore area passed away January 11, 2023 at his residence in California.  He was born September 3, 1953 to Waldo Ray & Helen Jean (Hare) Ferguson.  He married LuAnn Carson on July 25, 1980 in Savannah, MO.

Steven was self-employed as a structural steel draftsman.  He was passionate about flying and obtained his private pilot's license in 1977.  He served on the Andrew County PWSD #3 Water Board from 1991 to 2007.

Survivors include his children Abbie (Shawn) Cun of Irvine, CA and Benjamin (Emmee) Ferguson of Manhattan Beach, CA; siblings Ann (Dale) Spurgeon of Quitman, TX and Travis (Sheryl) Ferguson of Liberty, MO; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his wife in 1994 and  by his parents.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 12:00pm-1:00pm Friday, January 27th, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah MO.  Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Friday, January 27th, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, MO.
