Sierra Nicole Church "Sis", 21, Savannah, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at KU Med Center in Kansas City, KS. She was born on August 1, 1997 in St. Joseph, MO to Terry Church and Cyndi Way.
Sierra enjoyed all kinds of music and dancing. Cheerleading for the Northwest Allstar Cheercats. Her favorite color was yellow, she liked Duck Dynasty but mostly spending times with family and friends. She loved people and was a light in this world for others to behold.
Sierra is survived by her parents; Terry (Angela) Church of Amazonia, Cyndi Way (Joe Redmond) of Savannah; maternal grandparents, Ward & Paula Way AKA Nana & Pa of Cosby; Sisters, Kelsey "Honeybee" Church, Tania Long, Cheyenne Long; niece, Emery Jones; boyfriend Charlie Phillips of Savannah; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, David & Vickie Church.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at First Baptist Church in Savannah. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 10:00am at First Baptist Church in Savannah. Burial will be in Bennett Lane Cemetery, Savannah, MO. Memorial contributions can be made to Special Olympics of Missouri and United Cerebral Palsy of St. Joseph. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah is in charge of local arrangements.
