Shannon Nicole Ellis, 37, of St. Joseph, MO went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 1st, 2024.  She was born November 5th, 1986 to Marion and Diana (Black) Boyles. She married Holt Ellis in Cosby, MO on May 28th, 2011 and he survives of the home.

Shannon was baptized into Christ on July 19th, 1998 and received first communion on April 8th, 2023 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Mound City, MO. She was a devout Lutheran and servant of Christ. She modeled a servant's life by homeschooling her children and making a home for her family. She sacrificed much time and energy to ensure they were cared for.

Survivors include her mother, Diana Boyles of Savannah; husband, Holt Ellis of St. Joseph; children, Liam Ellis and Annabelle Ellis both of the home; siblings, Jim (Becky) Boyles of St. Joseph, Jason (Meagan) Boyles of Lenexa, KS; with numerous family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Marion Boyles, maternal grandparents, James and Sarah Black, and paternal grandparents, Don and Ethel Boyles.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be 5:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Funeral service will be 10:00am Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1413 Nebraska St, Mound City, MO 64470. Burial will follow at Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Noyes Home for Children.
