Samuel Henry Kyle, 57, St. Joseph, MO passed from this life on December 10, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO. He was born in St. Joseph, MO on December 31, 1957 to the late David and Beulah (Lewis) Kyle.

Samuel served in the Army from 1980 to 2005 which he received several medals during his enlistment Samuel served in Iraq in 2004 and retired a SSG. Samuel was a great father and grandfather who loved kids and was a very caring man who enjoyed fishing and football.

Survivors: one son Calvin (Alicia) Ashlock, Johnson, CO; three daughters, Alisha (Dustin) Fordice, Solon, IA, Angie Kyle, St. Joseph, MO, SammiJo Hewitt, Joplin, MO; four brothers, David Kyle, St. Joseph, MO, Jesse (Sherry) Kyle, Brookfield, MO, Abraham (Lorraine) Kyle, Lenexa, KS, George (Misty) Kyle, St. Joseph, MO; three sisters, Betty (Dennis) Hautzenrader, Petaluma, CA, Susan Thomas, Jacksonville, IL, Catherine (Kenneth) Proffit, Lenexa, KS and twelve grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Gladden - Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph, MO. Public visitation with family receiving will be one hour prior to service. Inurnment 10 AM Monday, December 21, 2015 in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. Family suggest memorial donations to the VFW Post #1668 St. Joseph, MO.
