Samantha Irene Vaughn, 21, Helena, MO passed from this life on December 11, 2015 at her home in Helena, MO. She was born in Independence, MO on May 27, 1994 to Mark (Ivy) Vaughn and the late Melissa McCallon. She was raised by her Aunt Brenda Tritten and Bruce Dunn of Helena, MO.

Samm was a unique person, very adventurous, never knew a stranger, and her family and son were her anchors. She played guitar, wrote poetry, enjoyed singing, and loved all kinds of music. She graduated from Savannah High School in 2012.

Survivors include one son, Bane James Anthony Allen of the home; three brothers, Jacob Miller of Folsom, LA, Andrew Tritten of Andrew County, and Tristan Todd of Independence, MO; Maternal Grandmother Marilyn McCallon; paternal Grandfather Charles Ray Vaughn; three uncles, Michael (Lisa) McCallon of Rea, MO, Mark McCallon of St. Joseph, and Marty (Cynthia) McCallon of St. Joseph; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, and paternal grandmother Kat Delehant.

Celebration of Life will be 1 PM Friday, December 18, 2015 at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Public visitation and receiving hours will be Thursday December 17, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Inurnment will be at a later date in Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, MO. Family suggests memorial donations to the Griffey School of Arts in St Joseph, Mo.
