Ruth Married Thomas Jenkins on November 25, 1959 in Savannah, MO and he preceded her in death in 2014.

Ruth enjoyed NASCAR, Moscato Wine, dancing, making jewelry, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Diane (Doug) Wood, Kansas City, MO, Tom (Joyce) Jenkins, Jr. Troy, KS, Mary (Jody) Williams St. Joseph, MO, Toby (Melissa Smolke) Jenkins Sr., Savannah, MO; twelve grandchildren, Nathan R. (Eric) Wood, Tom C. (Danae) Jenkins, Alicia (Dusty) Wilmes, Brent D. (Ambre) Wood, Hannah L. (Sam) Lager, Levi C. (Shauna) Jenkins, Toby C. Jenkins Jr., Baileigh S. (Colin) Staples, Christian J. (Trudy) Cottrill, Treyton C. Jenkins, Chad J. (Miranda) Cottrill, and Ashley N. Jenkins. She has 18 great grandchildren and many loved ones left behind.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday May 18, 2026 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will follow the funeral service at Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
