Ruth Marea Chambers, 91 of Savannah passed away January 20,2023 at LaVerna Senior Living in Savannah, MO. She was born April 15, 1931, to Earl and Elsie (Brittain) Manship.  On October 6, 1950 she married Frank L. Chambers, Sr and he preceded her in death in 2017.

Ruth was very generous. She loved all of her family. Her grandchildren of all ages brought many happy days and memories into her life. Ruth loved to garden and spent all the time she could outdoors. Ruth enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

Survivors include her three surviving sons, Frank L. Chambers, Jr. (Deb) of Savannah; Mike (Debbie) Chambers, of Rosendale, and Jack (Desiree) Chambers, of Bolckow; sister Lorraine Waugh of Tucson, AZ and her brother Dale (Velma) Manship of Afton, IA, as well as 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren with two more on the way, and many nieces and nephews.  Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers being Bill, Donald, Alva and Lester Manship and sisters Martha Miller and Mildred House.

Words cannot express how much she will be missed. The family requests no flowers, but memorial donations to LaVerna Senior Living.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, January 23, 2023 at Bolckow Cemetery, Bolckow Missouri.  Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO is in charge of local arrangements.
