Ruth Marie Anderson, 92 of Savannah went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2024.  She was born July 1, 1931, in King City, MO to Earl & Elizabeth (Pierce) Tomlinson.  She married Loyde H. Anderson on December 10, 1945, in Atchison, KS and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2016.

Ruth was a busy person who could work on and fix anything.  She loved all her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She would make the best homemade Christmas candy for her family during the holidays.

Survivors include her two sons: Ronald (Harriet) Anderson of Sacramento, CA., and Loyde Dean (Wanda) Anderson of Savannah, MO.; three daughters: Sandra Fawcett of Molalla, OR., Martha (Mark) Mozinski of Savannah, MO., and Julia Hartman of Amazonia, MO.; one brother, J.B. Tomlinson of Harrisonville, MO., thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Earl Anderson.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 10:00 am-11:00 am Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Whiteville Cemetery in Whitesville, MO.
