Russell Jobes, Sr.
Russell Earl Jobes, Sr., 95, St. Joseph, Missouri passed from this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at a local nursing home. He was born November 12, 1919 in St. Joseph to Frank and Elva (Stegall) Jobes.
Russell was a graduate of Benton High School. He served with the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Chief Electricians Mate. Russell married Dorothy Pauly in 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland and she preceded him in death on December 7, 2009. He was an electrician and a member of IBEW Local #545.
Survivors include a son, Russell Jobes, Jr., St. Joseph; one daughter Marsha Przybylski, Sharpsburg, GA; four grandchildren, Kelly Henry, Jeffrey Jobes, Lisa Chapman, and Jason Przybylski; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Madison Przybylski, and Josh Langley. Russell was also preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Homer and Lee Jobes.
Mr. Jobes will be cremated and there is no visitation or service scheduled. Arrangements entrusted to Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph.
