Roxana Lee Balsamo, 83, of St. Joseph, MO passed away peacefully Saturday, January 21, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. She was born January 8, 1934 in St. Joseph to Merle McKinley & Clara Gertrude (Klawuhn) Ruff. She married John Balsamo on October 17, 1952 in St. Joseph and he survives of the home.
She is survived by one son, John "Jay" Balsamo III of St. Joseph; one daughter Renee Balsamo and Jim Adkins of Carrollton, MO; one grandson, Brandon Balsamo and great-grandson, Tatum both of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Ruff and Donald Ruff and one sister, Vivian Angell.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph, MO is overseeing local arrangements.
