Ronald (Snuffy) Lee Wood Sr. 81, Amazonia, MO passed away Friday, March 10 ^th , 2023 at his home in Amazonia.  He was born May 1 ^st , 1941 in St. Joseph to Milton and Lucille (Combs) Wood.  He married Betty Joe Flanagan in Chicago, IL on May 1st, 1941 and she preceded him in death.

Ron enjoyed fishing, bowling, KC Chiefs, and working on cars.  Ron enjoyed people in every way.  He was a retired electrician from IBEW Local 545.

Survivors include his children Ronald Jr (Kelly) Wood of Savannah, Becky (Wes) Spencer of Savannah, and Bobbi (Shane) Speer of Savannah; grandchildren Jason (Lydia) Wood, Cecilia (Alex) DeLeon, Sydney Spencer, Shayna Spencer, Chelsey Russell, Blair (Randell) Howard, Kelsey Speer, Courtney Johns, Brayden Speer, Matthew Johns, Austin Speer, Jeramy (Amy) Nester, Dallas (Cara) George, Cameron (Brooklynn) George and numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Roy (Carol) Wood of St. Joseph.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and grandson, Stephen Johns.
