Ronald F. Kempa, 62, Savannah, Mo passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at a local hospital in St. Joseph, MO. He was born April 14, 1956 in St. Joseph, MO to William & Mildred (Wright) Kempa.
Ron was close to his family and work family at WRDC Correctional Center. He enjoyed spending time with his significant other, Sherrill Logan and her son Shawn Logan.
Ron is survived by his sister, Joan (Gary) Shaw of St. Joseph and several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, significant other Sherrill Logan, two sisters and one brother.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday February 13, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, Mo. A private family inurnment will be in St. Johns Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns Church, 509 Spring St, Amazonia, MO 64421.
