Robert Dwain Smith, 70, of Savannah Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at a local hospital in St. Joseph.  Robert was born on August 3, 1950 in Smithville, MO to William "Dub" & Velma Irene (McMillian) Smith.  Robert married Judith Wise on December 23, 1967 in St. Joseph, MO and she survives of the home

Bob was a buyer for Associated Wholesale Grocers for many years and worked for the parks department of Savannah after retirement.  Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, friends but especially with his grandchildren and great grandchild. Bob enjoyed watching his grandchildren compete in their sporting events. Bob took great pride in his kids and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Steve (Kelly) Smith of Savannah and Jason (Tausha) Smith of Liberty; brothers, Bill Smith of Savannah and Richard Smith of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Morgan (Jake) Shipman, Peyton Smith, Drake Smith, Cole Smith, and great-grandson Jack Shipman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Rodney, grandson Landon Smith and sister Diane Smith.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.  Visitation and family receiving time will be 1:00pm-2:00pm, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions can be made to Live Like Landon Foundation.  Cremation will follow the funeral services.
