Robert Eugene Knorr (better known as Bob), of Saint Joseph, MO, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the age of 65. He was born on August 19, 1950 in Savannah, MO to Alfred and Sula (Rothmeyer) Knorr.
Growing up Bob liked to cause mischief with his brothers, Jim and Donnie Knorr. While attending high school in Savannah Bob ran track and field. The "Savannah Flash" is what they used to call him.
Later on down life's path Bob had a daughter named Rachel. During the summer they loved to play catch every night.
In Bob's spare time he liked making friends with people he met at 54th Street, playing pool, hunting and grilling. Everybody always says "Bob is the nicest guy I ever met." He never knew a stranger.
Bob leaves behind his daughter, Rachel, his brother, Donnie, his granddaughter, Evelyn, stepbrother, Gary Hazelrigg, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jim Knorr.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Breit - Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Public visitation will be from 6-8pm Friday May 20, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, Missouri.
