Rex E. Brunner, 62, St. Joseph, MO passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at King City Manor in King City, MO. He was born on September 2, 1955 to Everett & Dorothy (Israel) Brunner in St. Joseph, MO.

Rex was a big fan of the KC Chiefs and a season ticket holder. He liked watching Sprint Car racing at the track and TV. He was an independent truck driver for many years and iron worker in his earlier career.

Rex is survived by his son, Daniel Brunner of St. Joseph; brother, John H. Brunner of Gainesville, FL; sister, Edith DeLaRosa of Texas; niece, Amanda Holman of King City; nephew, Michael Saxton of Kansas City, MO; caregivers, Cristen McDonell of Easton and Nancy Schonemann of St. Joseph. Rex was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Amazonia, MO. at a later date.
