Regina Lynna Calderon (Owens), 40 of Savannah, MO passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at her home in Savannah, MO.  She was born December 14, 1985 in St. Joseph, MO to Garrett "Gary" R. Owens and Joannona Owens(Contreras).

Regina  grew up in the Lake Country District of St. Joseph. She graduated from Benton High School. She fought a long battle against diabetes from childhood. She loved her two kids very much. She was a very humorous and joyful person. She loved cracking jokes and pranking people. She had worked at MERIL and Farris Truck Stop.

Survivors includer her parents, Gary Owens of St. Joseph, MO and Joannona Owens of Savannah, MO; daughter, Ann Marie M. Calderon of Kansas City, MO; son, Mateo M. Calderon of Kansas City, MO; brothers; Roger (Missie) Owens of Platte City, MO and Robert Owens of Nebraska; sister, Rebecca Rojas of Nebraska.  She was proceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Owens.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.  Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home of Savannah, MO is in charge of local arrangements.
