Ralph Olen Walker, 82, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away at a local health care facility in Savannah on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

He was born March 4, 1944, to Olen and Lucella (Van Meter) Walker.

In 1962, he married Dorothy Louise Pike until her passing in 1969. He married Lillie Auxier in 1972. In 1976, he married Bobbie J. Soper until her passing in 2014.

He was also proceeded by Rick Walker (son) and Kandi Sprake (daughter).

Ralph was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family and in a job well done. A skilled carpenter by trade, he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication. Ralph was the kind of man who showed up every day, worked hard, and believed in doing things the right way. His family often remembered that he never missed a day of work, a reflection of the commitment and perseverance that defined him throughout his life.

When he wasn’t working, Ralph loved spending time outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and especially enjoyed mushroom hunting, a pastime that brought him many happy hours in the woods. He appreciated the simple things in life—honest work, the outdoors, and time spent with family and friends.

Ralph will be remembered for his strength, determination, reliability, and the example he set through a lifetime of hard work. His family will carry with them many treasured memories of the man he was and the life he built.

Survivors include his children, Charles (Jamie) Walker of Helena, Missouri, Ralph “Jason” (Christy Rippe) Walker of Country Club, Missouri, and Kim (Rick) Smith of St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, GeanAnne (Johnny) George-Evans, Charlie (Morgan) Walker, Catelyn (Trevor) McCartney, Jacey Walker, Brody Walker, Jessica Walker, Justine Walker, Remington Sprake (Alexandria), and Mykel Sprake; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2026, at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, Missouri.

Inurnment will take place in Helena Cemetery at a later date.

Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
