Ralph Eldon Dorrel, 92, of Bolckow, MO passed away in Kansas City on June 10, 2025.  He was born on August 31, 1932 to Ralph and Marie (Campbell) Dorrel.  He married Doris Elaine Huffaker in Bolckow, MO on July 19, 1952 and she survives of the home.

Eldon proudly served in the US army during the Korean War, was a lifelong farmer in Andrew County, a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, American Legion, and the Baptist Church.

Eldon was loved by many and would do anything for anyone. He never met a stranger.

Survivors include daughters; Sherry Nieting of Bondurant, IA, Linda Williams of Liberty MO, Renae (Keith) Middleton of Hubert, NC; daughter-in-law Paula Dorrel of Pleasant Hope, MO; 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; siblings, Morine Walker, Savannah, MO and James (Janice) Dorrel, Union Star, MO. He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Eldon Dorrel, and sons-in-law Ricky Williams and John Nieting.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, Friday June 13, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday June 14, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to the American Legion Post 287, Savannah, MO, 501 E Price Ave, Savannah, MO 64485.
