Priscilla Rose Latham, 85, of Savannah, MO passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Shady Lawn Living Community in Savannah, MO. She was born on July 20, 1931 in Savannah, MO to Lloyd & Helen (Reno) Harvey. She married Richard Lyle Latham April 16, 1954 at Amazonia United Methodist Church. Richard preceded her in death December 20, 1997.
Rose lived in Savannah her whole life. She graduated 8th grade at Washington School in rural Andrew County and Savannah High School in 1948. She attended Gard Business School in St. Joseph.
She worked at Home Bank of Savannah as a bookkeeper/teller and then later as Deputy Clerk and County Clerk of Andrew County, retiring in 1995.
Survivors include one son, Adam Latham of Maryville, IL; three daughters, Laurie (Frank) Valenzuela of Savannah, Becky Rotterman of Country Club, and Sherril Norris of Youngsville, NC; one sister, Betty Harvey of Savannah; ten grandchildren, Mikki Scheidegger, Lenni Campbell, Zach Valenzuela, Kevin Shearman, Kim Shearman, Dr. Kelly Logan, Dane Norris, Aidan Latham, Lydia Latham and Owen Latham; six great-grandchildren, Lillyana Scheidegger, Carrie Campbell, Emmi Shearman, Augie Walsh, Albert Walsh, and Birdie Walsh. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sons-in-law, Mike Shearman and John Rotterman.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary (as well as past president), Business and Professional Women Club, and the County Clerk's Association. She was a lifetime member of the Amazonia United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Visitation and family receiving hours will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Burial will be in the Bennett Lane Cemetery, Savannah, MO. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Amazonia United Methodist Church.
