Phillip Clark Colson, 65, of Savannah, Missouri, formerly of Loveland, CO, passed away surrounded by family, Friday, April 15, 2022, at a local hospital in St. Joseph, MO.  He was born in Jacksonville, FL on October 27, 1956, to Harris and Beverly (Moore) Colson.

Phil loved his family, dog Charlie, and friends.  He was a hard worker with a "never give up" attitude.  He enjoyed learning new things and applying them to his life.  He always saw the best in people and lifted them up.  His smile was contagious.  Phil made a career of landscaping and irrigation.  In Loveland, he was a founding owner of Tri City Sprinklers & Landscaping, and later owned and operated Phil Colson Sprinkler Service.

Survivors include his son, Jeremy (Meredith) Colson of Savannah, MO; four grandchildren, Aaron (Caitlyn) Colson, Sadie* (David) Ousley, Daniel Colson, Andrew (Katie) Colson, and one great-granddaughter* on the way; siblings, Ralph Colson of Alameda, CA, Holly (Dan) Keck of Loveland, CO, Jeff (Jackie) Colson of Loveland, CO, and Jill (Dave) Anstett of Sedona, AZ; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; great friends Jeanna Cavanagh, and Toni Cina.  He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial services will be at a later date in Loveland, CO. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, is in charge of local arrangements.
