Norma J. Tipton, 93, of Savannah, MO passed away January 19, 2025 at LaVerna Manor in Savannah, MO.  She was born February 22, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK to Elmo & Vera (Stuart) Hilton.  She married Vernon Tipton in Savannah, MO on June 5, 1949 and he preceded her in death.

She enjoyed her family and loved when there were babies around.  As a hobby Norma enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting.  Her infectious smile charmed everyone she came in contact with.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Bill) Brinton St. Joseph, MO; daughter-in-law, Karen Tipton (Terry Wood) Rosendale, MO; brother, Douglas Hilton; grandchildren, Shannon Grable (Melissa), Travis Grable (Kristy), Jesse Tipton, Amy (Jeramy) Nester, and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Steve Tipton; and grandson, Keith Tipton.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 10:00am -11:00am Friday January 24, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday January 24, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to Noyes Home For Children 801 N Noyes Blvd, St Joseph, MO 64506.
