Norma A. Radmer 75 St Joseph passed away at Mosaic Life Care on March 16, 2015.Norma was born June 25, 1939 to Melvin and Lillian (Barber) Young in Blenco, IA and moved to St Joseph, MO as a young child and lived there the remainder of her life. Norma married Ronnie C. Radmer (Sr) on August 27, 1958 in St. Joseph, MO.
Norma loved the Lord and her family and treasured time spent with them. She was talented musician and singer and was active in multiple churches during her life. Norma took special joy in being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family and also enjoyed being a foster parent and provided a loving home for countless children over the years.
Survivors include: sisters-Gloria McGuire, Irene Cohrt, Jean Radmer, Luella Lippold, and brother Theodore Young. Her children, their spouses and children: Sons-Ronnie Radmer, Jr, his wife Savannah and sons Joshua Radmer and Rhett Radmer; Dr Charles/Randy Radmer, wife Carla, their daughters Heidi Hamic (children Blake and Marilee,) Dr Megan Radmer and Katrina Radmer; David Radmer, wife Anita, Timothy Radmer, wife Linda, Terry Radmer. daughters-Donna Myrick, husband Charlie, Barbara Valenzuela, husband Arturo, and children Ryan Buckles, Eric Buckles and Kimberly Valenzuela (child Tay); Moriah DeForge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Herschel Young.
The Celebration of Norma's Life will be at 2:00PM, Saturday March 21, 2015 and the Public visitation and family receiving at 6-8PM, March 20, 2015, both at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph, MO.
