Norma Jean (Foulk) Pinkerton, 87 of Craig, Missouri, formerly of Big Lake Village, Missouri passed from this life surrounded by her loving family in her home on Saturday, October 17, 2015. She was born September 8, 1928 in St. Joseph, MO. Norma married Victor Pinkerton on December 30, 1967 in St. Joseph and he preceded her in death January 30, 1996. Norma and her late husband was owner/operator of the Long Branch Tavern for 13 years until retiring in June 1990. She had a great love for her family and enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. Norma was also preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Foulk and Violet (Courtney) Foulk Jacobs; a son, Richard McPhail; a daughter, Terri Rails; stepson, Gary Pinkerton; a sister, Dora Lee (Pete) Joslin; a nephew, John Joslin. Survivors: daughter, Tierra Rails, Craig, MO; son, Gregory Allen, Kansas City, MO; stepdaughter, Pam Gagnon, St. Joseph; numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Darin Rails, Craig, MO and numerous friends. The family will receive friends 10 to 11 am Thursday prior to a Memorial Celebration of Life at 11 am Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph. Inurnment will follow the service at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, MO. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
