Mikel James Bennett, 65 St. Joseph, MO passed from this life on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO. He was born in Kansas on September 30, 1950 to Donald And Mildred (Hahn) Bennett. Mikel enjoyed fishing, playing cards, wrestling, Chiefs football, playing casino games, old country music and loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sherry Fanning. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of the home; two sons, Chris (Tonia) Bennett, Aarron Mix; four daughters, Jennifer Bennett, Amy Bennett, Doris Bowman, Alexis Bennett; two brothers, Don (Linda) Bennett, John (Terri) Clemmons; seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Public viewing with family visitation 5 PM - 7 PM with time of remembrance service at 6 PM Monday, February 29, 2016 at Gladden - Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph, MO.
