Mike Salsbury, of Rockaway Beach, MO and formally of Bolckow, MO passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO. He married Linda L. Barton on October 18, 1958 in Stanberry,MO and she preceded him in death in 2008.
Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling. He loved his family and the time he spent with them. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He liked to write poetry and draw.
Survivors include three sons, Archie Salsbury of St. Joseph, Michael (Tami) Salsbury of Ulysses, KS, and Stephen (Shelby) Salsbury of Leavenworth, KS; three daughters, Tina (Brian) Davis of St. Joseph, Nora (Larry) Campbell of Lathrop, MO, and Robin Sisk of Chilhowee, MO; two sisters, Ellen (Granville) Brown of Bolckow, MO and Bettye (Jim) Silkett of Savannah; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, wife, one son, Shannon Salsbury his grandson, Steven Haack and brother, Gerald Salsbury.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
