Michael E. Anderson:

Michael Eugene Anderson, 59, Savannah, MO passed from this life on Monday, September 7, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 26, 1955 in St. Joseph, MO. to Aubrey E. & Teresa Justina (Eckery) Anderson. On April 27, 1991 he married Teresa Kay Alexander in St. Joseph and she survives of the home.

Michael loved and cherished his family and friends and the time he spent with them. He worked for 26 years at Heartland hospital and then moved to
Boehringer Ingelheim for the past 8 years. As a younger man Michael was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed bowling on many leagues. He liked to play golf with his favorite golf buddy, his daughter Megan.

Survivors include his wife Teresa of the home; parents, Aubrey and Teresa Anderson; one daughter, Megan L. Anderson of Bolivar, MO, half-brother, F. Robert "Bob" Walker of Kansas City, MO plus many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Mike's Life will be Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00PM, at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home; Savannah. Visitation with the family will be Friday, September 11, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. A prayer service will be offered at 7:30PM Friday evening. Burial will follow after the funeral service on Saturday in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose of Lima Parish or Mosaic Hospice.
