Merle Brewer, 92 of Savannah passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at a local nursing facility in Savannah.  He was born in Bolckow, MO on May 14 ^th , 1930 to George (Luke) & Charlotte (Faye Jenkins) Brewer.

Merle enjoyed being outdoors, trout fishing, traveling (by car), hunting, playing pool, and gardening.  He was also a snowbird, skipping the snow, in Texas during the winter months.

Survivors include his children, Merle Jr. (Debbie) Brewer of St. Joseph, Susie Risher of Marshall, TX, George (Christy) Brewer of Holdridge, NE, and Clarence Brewer of Apex, NC.; numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.  He was preceded in death by daughters, Diane Harmon, Donna Stover, and Cathy Ann Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Brewer.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 10:00am-11:00am,  Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO.  Funeral services will be 11:00am,  Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Savannah Senior Center.
