Melissa J. Grishow, 83, of Savannah, Mo passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at LaVerna Manor Health & Rehabilitation in Savannah.  She was born March 31, 1941 to John & Edna (Smith) Hilsenbeck.

Melissa loved music, drawing, tending to her garden, and most of all spending time with her family. She worked as the bookkeeper for Rea Grain and Feed for 46 years until it's closing in the summer of 2010. During that time, she also worked as the bookkeeper for Hannah Oil Company and Hannah Farms.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Dreher of Savannah; daughter-in-law, Cathy Grishow of Deepwater, Mo; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren with two more on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Grishow; brother, Charles Hilsenbeck; an infant sibling; and son-in-law Bobby Dreher.

Memorial visitation will be 6:00pm-8:00pm Friday, April 19, 2024 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, Mo.  Memorial services will be 10:00am Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions can be made to Freudenthal Hospice 2425 N Woodbine Rd Ste.
