Maurice "Butch" Suesens, 79, Rosendale, MO passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at A local hospital in St. Joseph.  He was born in Burlington, IA on August 26, 1942 to Ralph and Selma (Inghram) Suesens.  He married Jacquelyn Griffin in Savannah, MO in 1993 and she survives of the home.

Butch was an ironworker for the local 10, Kansas City for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing , hunting, and drinking with many buddies at the local taverns.

Survivors include daughter, Brandy (David) Gabriel of Savannah; stepchildren, Tammy (Leroy) Robertson and Dean (Kimberly) Malotte both of Savannah; grandchildren, Makaela Gabriel, Lacey Gabriel, Blake Robertson, Raymond Burton, Justin Malotte, Kailena Malotte, Camarea Malotte, seven great-grandchildren and his dog Sassy.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 10:00am, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah.  Visitation with family receiving hours will be 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home is Savannah.  Inurnment will be at a later date in Bennett Lane Cemetery north of Savannah.  Memorial contributions can be made to, Holiday With A Hero, make checks payable to; St Joseph MO firefighters IAFF local 77 charity.  Please mail to Andrew County Sheriff Dept., 400 E.
