Mary J. Bennett 75, of Savannah, MO passed away on October 4, 2024 at a local hospital in St. Joseph.  She was born in Saint Joseph, MO on February 9, 1949 to William & Lorene (Knowles) Bennett.

Mary loved Christmas time and being able to spend time with her family.  She enjoyed fishing, movies, reading, and going to parks and places on road trips.

Survivors include her children, David (Sherry) Frazer of Weatherby, Alica (Mack) Carter of Savannah, Nina Farnsworth of St. Joseph, and Jaxon (Ashley) Bennett of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Mack, Cristie, Tabatha, Bobbi, Novaly, Charles, William, Jagger, and Sara.  She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Robert Townsend, son, CJ Sisk, granddaughter, Kimberly Carter, and sister, Bertha Nephew.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 19th, 2024, 10:00am at Eastside Baptist Church in St. Joseph, MO. There will be a BBQ preceding the memorial services starting at 1:00pm at The Andrew County Lake Club.  Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO is in charge of local arrangements.
