Marvin Lee Edwards, 88, Savannah, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
He was born northwest of Fillmore, MO to William Rhea & Agnes Anna (McKillip) Edwards.
Marvin was a farmer and was a hard worker. He enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, and country music. Being a farmer, he was a good mechanic and liked working on tractors. Spending time with his family was one of his greatest joys.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn (John) Hubach of Savannah; one brother, Stanley (Dollie) Edwards of Savannah; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; his wonderful companion, Evelyn McKillip. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Jaloyce Weisz, brother, William R. Edwards Jr, and childhood sister, Evelyn Edwards.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah. Public viewing and family receiving hour will be Saturday, November 4, 201 7 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial and interment will be at Antioch Cemetery, northwest of Fillmore.
