Martha Ann Winger, 97, Savannah, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at LaVerna Village in Savannah, MO. She was born May 11 ^th , 1922 in Andrew County Missouri to Ray and Helen (Salmons) Van Schoiack. She married Bernard "Bud" Winger in November 9, 1991 and he survives of the home. She was preceded in death by parents and brothers; Marion, Charles, Kenneth, Jerry, and Lowell.

She retired from Wyeth Hardware in St Joseph Mo in 1987.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Savannah.  She enjoyed her family, gardening, and her flowers.  She graduated from Savannah High School class of 1940.

She is survived by her children Joann and Meredith Kapp of St Joseph Mo and son Ron and Ardi Veraguth of Phoenix AZ; grandchildren, Brent in Marilyn Kapp of Overland Park KS, Denise and John Meyer of Bellingham WA, and Chad and Shanna Kapp of Cosby Mo; great grandchildren Emily and Landon Kapp and Logan and Sydney Kapp.

Children by marriage, David and Cindy Winger of St Joseph Mo, Galen and in the late Virginia Winger of St Joseph Mo, Marilyn Winger of Shawnee KS, and Linda and Tom Wolken of Shawnee KS; grandsons Chris Winger, Ryan and Alixa Winger, Bryn and Madison Winger, Jared and Brady Wolken; great grandchildren, Brody Winger, Murphy and Logan Winger.

Family visitation and receiving hours will be Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO.  Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
