Mark Alan Morgan, age 58, passed away on Monday April 17th, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones at Mosaic Life Care.
Mark was born on October 15th , 1958 in St. Joseph, Missouri, to parents Don Morgan and Joan (Strickler) Clowser. He was a 1978 graduate of Savannah High School. He worked for NW Missouri Insulation and later as the owner of Morgan Insulation.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Debbie (Harrison) Morgan of the home; his daugher, Shawna (Thearl Jr.) Lake, of Troy, KS; his 6 grandchildren, Mackail, Clara, Morgan, Asa, Skyler, and Mickie; his brothers, Bruce and wife Sherri Morgan, Troy and wife Shari Morgan; and many aunts, uncles, neices and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father of Savannah, MO; his sister-in-law, Pat (Valentine) Morgan; his uncles John Morgan, James D Strickler and Raylee Strickler; his grandparents, Murrel and Alice Strickler of Rosendale, MO; and Charles and Bernice Morgan of Savannah, MO.
Mark enjoyed playing softball, shooting pool, his Chiefs, Royals baseball, fishing, horse shoes, gardening, woodworking, and surrounding himself with friends and family. Visitation will be held at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home on Friday, April 21st from 5:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 22nd at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bennett Lane Cemetery in Savannah, MO. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mark's life.
