Mark E. Glidewell, 64, St. Joseph, MO passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his home in St. Joseph, MO. He was born on March 11, 1954 to Donald & Mona (Gideon) Glidewell in Los Angeles, CA. He married Jodi Rowlison in Point Lookout, MO on November 13, 1976 and she survives of the home.
Mark loved his family and all the children Jodi watched during the day that were close to his heart. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting everything. He could be found in front of the TV or radio when the KC Chiefs, KC Royals, or Mizzou games were playing with his dog J.J. by his side.
Survivors include his wife; sister, Liz Shipman of Ozark, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Gail Messersmith, May Nichols, and Charlotte Achor.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday, May 11, at Wesley United Methodist Church, St. Joseph. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00AM Friday, May 11, at Wesley United Methodist Church, St. Joseph, MO. Memorial contributions can be made to Mosaic Hospice. Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph is overseeing local arrangements.
