Marguerite "Maggie" F. Smith, 86, of Savannah, MO passed away Friday, November 17th, 2023 at LaVerna Village in Savannah.  She Was born in Savannah, MO on October 29th, 1937 to Lloyd Leland & Nellie Frances (Bishop) Pettijohn.  She married Derrel Lee Smith in Oregon, MO on April 19th, 1971 and he preceded her in death in 1987.

She was a member of Cornerstone Church of Savannah. She enjoyed her family, going to church, playing bingo, and her friends at the Andrew County Senior Center.

Maggie is survived by her church family, several cousins, extended family, and numerous friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Julia Mae Pettijohn.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 9:00am-10:00am Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah.  Funeral Services will be 10:00am Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial and interment rights will follow at Savannah Cemetery.  Officiating the service will be Pastor Larry Davis.
