1921 - 2015

Loyd Henry Son Jr., age 94 passed from this life on Sunday, October 11th, 2015 at
Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO.

Loyd served in WWII as a forward artillery spotter in the United States Army in
North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Austria, and Germany. He was honorably discharged
on October 31st, 1945.

Survivors include his sons, Gary Son & wife Eva of Hockley, TX; Terry Son of
Grant City, MO; Stepsons, Jack Evans and Mack Evans; His four grandchildren,
Sean Morelli, Bobbie Jo Meador, Hilary Dary, Michael Son, and Amanda Son,
16 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and
nephews.

Loyd was preceded in death by his brothers Pren Son, Kenneth Son, and Sisters
Kathleen Beauchamp, and Elsie May Bennet, his wife Genevieve and his son
Michael Son and daughter Patricia Son.

Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Breit-Hawkins
Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.

Inurnment will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery on Monday October 26, 2015 at 10:00AM.
