Lois Pauline Ochse, 88, of Helena, MO passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025 in Wathena, KS.  She was born in Meade, KS on February 26, 1936 to Guy and Flora LeMaster.  She married Charles Ochse Jr. in St. Joseph, MO on October 19, 1957 and he survives of the home.

Lois owned and operated a craft shop in South Carolina and was a homemaker for her husband and two sons.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Cosby, MO.  She made many heirlooms for her family, quilt blocks, cross stitch, and knitting.

Survivors include her sons; Steven Ochse of St. Joseph and C. Michael (Lisa) Ochse of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren, Cameron Ochse and Mitchell Ochse; sisters, Dasey (Jim) Middleton and Donna (Eddie) Rian of Minnesota; with numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and five sisters.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be 5:00pm – 7:00pm Friday, February 21, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO.  Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Cosby, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to American Foundation for the Blind Attn: Gift Processing 1108 Third Avenue, Suite 200 Huntington, WV 25701 or https://www.afb.org .
