Lisa Jo Gilbert, 64, of Country Club, MO passed away Saturday August 3, 2024 at her home in Country Club.  She was born in St. Joseph on February 22, 1960 to Jerry and Virginia (Crowley) Shortle.  She married Michael L. Gilbert on September 23, 1977 in St. Joseph and he survives of the home.

Lisa loved her family fiercely and enjoyed watching her grandsons play sports, camping, traveling, painting, crafts, and the Kansas City Chiefs.  If you were in her heart then you were family.

Survivors include her husband, mother and her children Jeramiah (Genevia) Gilbert of St. Joseph and Melissa (Zachary) Snapp of Savannah; grandchildren Zayden Snapp, Zyler Snapp, Cheyenne Reinert, Jason Reinert, and Leighanna Reinert; great-grandchildren  Dominic Reinert and Ryker McCraken; Siblings, Kathy Buffey of St. Joseph, Kristy (Willie) Johnson and Michelle Shortle, all of Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her father and sister Diana Crowder.

Visitation and family receiving hours will be 9:00 am-10:00 am Monday, August 12, 2024 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Monday, August 12, 2024 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
